Lists...

(Philippines, 2011)
Whilst looking over a website I set up ten years ago, I came across a list I'd compiled of the "most desired countries" I'd like to visit.

I am pleased to note that I can wipe three of the countries off my list but the list is forever growing. The more you see of the world, the more you realise there is to see.

Here it is...

most desired countries:
tibet
bhutan
pakistan
japan
china/hong kong

philippines
seychelles
maldives
new zealand

oz
south africa

the caribbean

What are yours?!

Seeking inspiration...

Spring has arrived here in London in all its beauty and we are enjoying warmer temperatures than Barcelona and Athens. I love this time of year. Filled with hope and promise.

My apologies for not blogging recently.

One factor is my lack of inspiration...it flew away as I penned the last page of Home Keeps Moving and has yet to return in its entirety. I guess the fact that I had to write lots of interviews and articles following the book's release squeezed the last drops out. So I have taken to posting recent interviews and reviews as they are published to keep everyone informed (which you can read on the "Reviews/Press" page).

Secondly, three weeks ago today a dear friend passed away. She was an amazing, beautiful girl and a shining light to all who knew her. I have scarcely been able to focus on anything else.

"For what is it to die but to stand naked in the wind and to melt into the sun?

And what is it to cease breathing, but to free the breath from its restless tides, that it may rise and expand and seek God unencumbered?

Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing.

And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb.

And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance."
- Kahlil Gibran
